Source and evaluate investment opportunities among ventures promoting (among other things) health, education and justice within underserved communities. Support early-stage tech social ventures founded by BIPOC, women, and non-binary founders by facilitating access to capital, connections, coaching and a values-aligned community. Design and execute a series of virtual sessions focused on providing Camelback Ventures entrepreneurs with foundational knowledge to build sustainable, impactful ventures. Identify and recruit high-quality advisors and investors from diverse backgrounds to participate in the Camelback accelerator so our entrepreneurs have access to a broad network of expertise in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Develop and maintain relationships with Camelback entrepreneurs, providing ongoing support and guidance as they continued to build their ventures and deepen their impact in their communities. Monitor and evaluate the impact of our support, using data and feedback from participants to inform improvements and strategic decisions. Promote diversity and inclusion in the tech ecosystem by participating in events and other initiatives aimed at fostering a more welcoming and inclusive environment.

Managed Amplify, a sustainability-focused program funded by DFID & The Rockefeller Foundation that pursued a new model for global development through flexible investments in early-stage ideas & human-centered design. Led a lean, agile team across multiple studios to support 46 social innovators across 20 countries test solutions to complex challenges affecting marginalized communities. Fostered strong relationships with these partners, encouraging them to research and prototype solutions that were user-centered and impactful. Monitored indicators of impact, managed the budget, oversaw the dispersal of £4.6 million in grants, and made strategic investments in partners to build their capacities and/or scale their solutions.At the program’s end, 47% of the ideas we supported were women-led, Amplify-funded solutions reached 1.8 million people and 66% of the organizations in our portfolio had secured follow-on funding to continue their innovative projects.

Designed social impact projects in collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including government and community-based organizations, to advance sustainability priorities in health, agriculture, and climate change. Managed a diverse portfolio of complex social impact projects, ranging from small grants to multi-million-dollar contracts. Collaborated with technical, procurement, and finance teams to develop budgets, monitor spending and optimize the use of taxpayer funds, ensuring maximum impact for development programs while maintaining strong relationships with partners. Conducted rigorous evaluations of projects, leveraging findings to adapt programming and improve impact. Communicated results to key stakeholders through written reports, presentations, and other communication channels. Facilitated training sessions to build capacity in monitoring and evaluation practices, resulting in improved data quality and informed decision-making.

Assisted in the development of country strategies to guide programming.
